10 unique things about me challenge.

Recently I have been tagged by Carly at Carly Bloggs in the 10 unique things about me challenge. At first I didn’t think I could write 10 unique things about me because I think I am just an average 18 year old girl but I have gotten 10 unique things about me ready to share with you all.

Let’s explore some unique things about me.

I can’t have butter on my sandwiches.

I don’t know why but I can’t stand it. Although when I am having a roll or having a toasted sandwich I need to have butter. I know it doesn’t make any sense!

When my routine, schedule or plans don’t go the way I have planned gets me very anxious and stressed out.

Having a routine or plan keeps my anxiety at bay and keeps me calm. I’m a very organised person and need organisation in my life to be calm. Although my boyfriend is very spontaneous and I am calm with him even when he fucks up my plans.

Touching raw meat freaks me out.

I will never forget the day when my mum asked me to put the chicken in the oven because she was washing the dishes. I opened the packaging and tried to pick it up. I did not like the texture and threw it into the oven. Since then I avoid it as much as possible.

Visiting haunted sites is on my bucket list.

I have always wanted to visit some well known haunted sites just to see if anything happens. I think it would be cool to do and be able to write about it here for you all. You can read more about these places here.

I can’t swim.

I used to be brought swimming when I was younger but always had armbands on. I never went swimming again after my dad took my armbands off and threw me into the water telling me to swim.

My dad wasn’t a good man and since then I don’t trust people around water so I have never learned to swim.

I don’t have any talents.

My sister is the talented one in the family. I just see myself as mediocre in everything that I do. I can do a lot of things but I wouldn’t say that it was a talent.

Stationery is a huge obsession of mine.

Now I can’t be the only one who has this obsession? I love stationery. It helps me so much in with my planning as I mentioned above. Notebooks, pens, highlighters and so much more are amazing! I LOVE them.

I love reading books on serial killers and watching documentaries on them too.

I have sooo many books and have watched so many documentaries. I find these people very interesting to learn about. While reading and watching these I try to understand why these people do what they do.

I’d rather stay at home than be out.

I’m not a very social person. Socialising is very difficult for me especially when it’s people I don’t know. It has to do with my trust issues. I am very wary around new people and it takes me a long long time to get comfortable or a few ciders!

At the age of nine, I practically became a mother to my younger siblings.

I had to take care of them from a young age and I had to grow up very quickly. From the age of nine, I was very mature so I didn’t connect with people my own age. Hence why I tend to be more comfortable around people who are older than me as I feel on a maturity level I am their equal.

Now there you have it 10 unique things about me!
