Ah, Valentines Day, the day for love and romance although I believe that every day should be full of love not just on one day of the year. Being in a long distance relationship on valentines day can be tough especially when you see couples all loved up on Facebook, Instagram, etc but Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be lonely. You can spend Valentine’s Day with your Long Distance lover and even send each other gifts if that’s something you’d like to do! So I have decided to come up with 7 Long Distance gift idea’s for Valentine’s day to give to your Long Distance Lover.

1. Customisable postcard
Why not create a cute postcard with a picture of you and your significant other and write a really cute, loving message for your SO, that they can keep with them and read when they are feeling down and need a reminder that you are there for them and you will be with them someday soon.
2. Photo Collage
Do you have some cute photos of you and your significant other from the times you spent together? Print them off and make a collage of the photographs, add some cue quotes, or little love notes around the photographs and pop it into a cute frame and there you have it a cute, handmade Valentine’s gift to send your loved one. They’ll love it.
3. Handwritten letter
Nothing says I love you more than a handwritten love letter. We all want that cute love story our grandparents have, with the handwritten letters, the courtship, etc but nowadays that doesn’t seem very doable. Why not bring some old romance into your relationship by sending a cute long handwritten letter to your loved one
4. Matching bracelets
A bracelet can help you feel your partner even though you are miles apart. Having a matching bracelet can help you feel connected with your significant other. Ryan and I technically don’t have matching bracelets but Ryan got me a bracelet ( much to my protest) with a gorgeous green stone that matches a necklace that he has. It’s such a really cute gift idea. I wear it every single day and I like to look at and touch the stone when I am missing him.
5. A box of their favourite things
What says I love you more than a cute, designed box full of their favourite foods, sweets, other things that they love. I think this is a really cute gift idea and it shows that you do listen and remember the little things that they love.
Pinterest is an amazing place to get some ideas on how to design the box that you send them. Instead of just sending a plain old box that they wil end up throwing out why not design it with pictures of you two, screenshots of the cute messages you have sent to one another, reasons why you love them and little cutesy things to make them feel loved.
6. An Adventure book
Have you spent time with your partner and had some adventures? Why not create an adventure scrapbook of all the fun and the great memories that you have together! It can be as simple as buying just a regular scrapbook and adding the photos into it or you can completely make it yourself.
7. A jar of little notes
This can be a really simple gift idea but it can take some time to do. An easy way to do
Reasons why I love you
Or whatever you would like to add to the jar. I made one of these before for my friend with little notes for her to read when she was having a bad day. Being in a long distance relationship can be really tough but having something like this can be a really good way to help your SO get through a tough day when they are missing you and needa reason to smile.
