Hi everyone! I’ve felt inspired to write again and I thought I would give you all an update on what has been happening the past few months. So let’s get into my life update!
As you can tell if you are a frequent visitor of my blog almost all of my blog posts have been book reviews and I haven’t been creating my ”regular” content on travel, mental health, etc for a long long time now.
So what’s been happening?
Being a content creator is tough! A few months ago I was so determined to make my blog big and make an income that I was creating content I was NOT happy with just to be pushing content out. I wasn’t happy and became very overwhelmed and stressed.
I felt like a failure and wanted to delete my blog and completely give up because I was tearing my hair out. My boyfriend convinced me not to delete my blog and just take some time away from it. So I took a break and found a small corner of YouTube called Booktube.
Finding my passion again
A spark ignited inside of me and I found my passion for reading again!!! So I started reading again and started booktube! You can find my channel at The Irish Book Nerd. I have read some pretty amazing books the past few months and I love sibling my teeth into a new book!
CrossFit has become a huge part of my regular routine. I am up at 5am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to go to the 6am CrossFit class. Yep you’ve read that right! It truly sets me up for my day and makes me so so productive! Crossfit has been amazing for both my mental health and productivity it’s awesome! My self confidence has become so much better and I love it!
Life in New Zealand
I have been living in New Zealand since April 1st so just over seven months and it is almost like I am a completely new person. I have finally become the person I have always wanted to become. Unfortunately the people who I believed would be with me for this journey aren’t but that’s okay. C’est la vie! I have made new friends, family and new connections who will support and love me through all my endeavours.
P.S I got my first tattoo!! Another mark New Zealand has left on me.
Thank you for staying with me on my crazy roller coaster of a life the past few months.
