My visit to the leprechaun museum.

Welcome back my lovelies to my blog! Today I will be talking about my visit to the leprechaun museum in Dublin.

If you are in Dublin and would love to see the quirky, fun and magical side of Ireland you should visit the National Leprechaun Museum. Everyone all over the world knows the stories of leprechauns and the magic in Ireland. Leprechauns are a universal symbol of Ireland. To be honest I myself have been called a leprechaun because I am short and Irish. Funny right?

Step inside the world of magical Ireland, see the world from the eyes of a leprechaun, learn about faeries and follow the end of the rainbow.

Will you find the pot of gold?

I brought my friend from England here when she first arrived to Ireland. I felt like it was such a good way to get into the mood of visiting Ireland and making the trip memorable! It was so quirky, fun and cheesy but we both really enjoyed ourselves.

The leprechaun museum is in a perfect location close to restaurants, shops and many other facilities around this area for example transport.

It is cheap and affordable to enter the leprechaun museum. It costs €16 to enter as an adult or €14 to enter using a student idea. You also have the option of booking the tour at the door or online in advance.

For adults only the leprechaun museum give tours into the dark and twist world of Irish folklore called the Dark Land tour. Tickets cost €18 and please bring valid Id to prove you are over 18.

The tour guides are amazing.

They connect with the group and are very passionate about their job of storytelling and leading the tour through the world of Irish folklore.

Please arrive ten minutes before the tour so you don’t miss it and sadly if you do you will not be refunded for your ticket cost.

I really enjoyed my tour here! I would visit again to go through the dark land tour, maybe around Halloween time.

Thanks so much for reading!

  1. A leprechaun museum sounds fun! I’m always up for quirky museums beyond the usual fine or modern art museums, thanks for sharing! I’m putting it on my list for my Ireland trip.
