The “beauty” of natural products.

Natural products are eco-friendly, it stops irritation of the skin, there are no strange side effects and it is gentler over time. Natural products are so much better for you now and in the long run. As we grow up we just start using what is in the shops and not really think about what is in the products and how it can affect us and our bodies. The beauty of natural products are plentiful and today I am showing you how some natural products can help you have gorgeous skin.

Charcoal Facemask

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon Bentonite Clay

1 tablespoon Coconut Activated Charcoal Powder

1 teaspoon raw honey

1-2 teaspoon of water

Directions:

In a small glass bowl, mix the bentonite clay and activated charcoal. Make sure you use a plastic spoon – don’t use as it affects the bentonite clay. Mix the powders well and then add the honey. Once it turns into a paste, add 1-2 teaspoons of water and make sure it’s not too runny.

Tip: Activate charcoal can stain your clothes so be careful.

To use:

Apply using circular motions all over your face, avoiding the eyes. Wait for the mask to dry and then rinse with warm water.

Blackhead remover mask

Ingredients:

3 teaspoons Bob’s Red Mill baking soda

2 teaspoons of freshly squeezed orange juice or grapefruit juice or water.

Directions:

In a glass bowl mix both ingredients very well. It should look like a paste. Once they look like a paste, apply on your face, avoiding the eyes.

Leave the mask for ten minutes or until the mixture is dry.

Then, moisten your fingers and gently massage your face in circular motions, concentrating on areas where you have a majority of blackheads.

After massaging for a few minutes, rinse face with water and pat your face dry.

Make up remover.

To create your own make up remover you will need castor oil and another oil to mix with it depending on your skin type.

Oily skin: 2 teaspons of castor oil and 1 tablespoon of grapeseed oil/ olive oil/avocado oil or sunflower oil.

Combination skin: 1 teaspoon of castor oil and 1 tablespoon of grapeseed oil/ olive oil/ avocado oil or sunflower oil.

Dry skin: 1 teaspoon of castor oil and 2 tablespoons of grapeseed oil/ olive oil/ avocado oil or sunflower oil.

Directions:

Mix both oils together gently and either massage into your skin or apply usuing a cotton pad until your makeup has been removed.

Extra tip: Apply a hot towel on your face once all your makeup is gone to open your pores.
