What does women empowerment mean to you?

To me, women empowerment means two things. Women taking control of their lives and creating a life that that love. The second meaning of women empowerment to me is when women stand side by side helping one another.

I hate seeing women tearing each other down. Women empowerment is so important. It doesn’t take a whole lot to inspire someone! Woman or not!

What woman/women do you most admire?

I admire many women but the women that I admire most are the victims of domestic violence. These women have endured so much pain and mental angst and yet they have had strength and bravery to stand up to their abuser. I greatly admire the certain few who share their stories to raise awareness and help others.

A huge story that I love reading and hearing about is all the activist work that Emma Watson does in regards women’s rights. While being an actor, continuing her education and being an activist is a true story of an empowered woman. Not only is she living the life that she wants to live she is fighting for other women who don’t have the chance.

The best lesson I have learned in leadership is that passion goes a long way. Your passion will shine through your work and bring people to you. They will be able to see how much effort and love that you out into your work

What cause do you most want to bring awareness to? Why?/ what does it mean to you?

Mental health and abuse are always going to be causes that I want to bring awareness to. I myself suffer from mental illness and I was a victim of abuse. Both of these causes mean a lot to me because I want to be able to inspire others and help people by sharing my story.
